The Influence of Yeast Cultures in the Diet on Performance of Weaning Piglets

Abstract: This study selected the 150 Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire three miscellaneous pos tweaning piglets while 21 day old, randomly divided into three groups, each group has two repeat, each of the repeat with 25 piglets. Group A (the control group), using the basic diet; group B and group C were in the basis of the diet added 0.05% and 0.10% yeast cultures. The results showed that: ①the daily gain of group C was significantly higher than that of group A (P<0.05), differences between the groups B and C were not significant (P>0.05); ②the intake of group C was significantly higher than group A (P<0.05); ③with the addition of yeast cultures increased, feed weight ratio has downward trend; ④the number of diarrhea piglets in group C was significantly reduced than group A,and the number of deaths out decreased significantly as well.
