Abstract:
A method was developed for the determination of RAC residues in swine urine by direct competitive chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA). The limit of detection was 0.09 ng/mL and the detection ranged from 0.3 ng/mL to 157.0 ng/mL. At the fortified levels of 0.5 ng/mL, 10 ng/mL and 100 ng/mL, mean recoveries ranged from 76.3% to 87.6%. The intra-assay variations were 10.0% to 12.2% and the inter-assay variations were 14.2% to 15.2%.
Key words: chemiluminescence immunoassay; Ractopamine; swine urine
