Abstract: To evaluate emergency work of animal epidemic prevention after earthquake of Mianyang that belongs to earthquake stricken area symposium, looking up documents of animal disease prevention,checking the work of emergence response, survey and experimental methods were taken.The results showed that the leaders attached importance to emergency work of animal epidemic prevention after earthquake diseaster and cooperated with other departments timely to prevent major animal epidemics.The animal epidemic prevention and control have brought noticeable achievements by using scientific normative emergency treatment in time.There is no prevalention and potential risk of major animal epidemics and zoonoses. But there are few factors to cause animal disease in local places.
