Abstract: 1080 one day old female Cenxi chicks were randomly divided into 9 groups with 40 birds each, chicks were fed designed diets for six weeks from 0 to 6 weeks of age feed intake ,body weight gain were recorded weekly. The results showed that body weight gain were increased and feed to gain ratio was improved by higher energy level（P<0.05）, the results suggested that the optimum level of dietary energy, crude protein and sulphur amino acids for his period of Cenxi chicks is 12.13 MJ/kg,20% and 0.97%.
