The Signaling of TGF-β Superfamily and the Effect on Ovarian Development

Abstract

Abstract: The TGF-β(Transforming growth factor-β，TGF-β) super family is a large group of structurally related growth factors, can regulate a variety of celluler processes. Recently, the growth factors belonging to TGF-βsuper family are expressed by ovarian somatic cells and oocytes in a stage-related manner as the development of ovarian. These growth factors can regulate the development of ovarian follicle. The mutation of BMP15 and GDF9 could effect the function of ovarian follicle or result in stetility.
