Abstract: As high-yielded and good quality economic crops, sunflowers are widely grown in Hetao area in Inner Mongolia.While produced during the sunflower seed oil processing,sunflower seed meals,receptacles,stalks and other by-products are often fed on livestock,which would not only avoid the environmental pollution caused by the by-products stacking and burning, but also to make up for the lack of feed resources.By studying the general situation of sunflower cultivation in Hetao area in Inner Mongolia, and its by-products development and utilization as feed resources, the author has identified some problems during the research and tries to put forward corresponding solutions.
