摘要: 多形汉逊酵母以其独特的生物学和遗传学特征已成为一种重要的细胞工厂,被广泛运用于生产药物蛋白、酶制剂、生物能源及药用植物有效成分等。作者概述了多形汉逊酵母的一些基本特性,阐述了其作为微生物细胞工厂的应用研究进展,并对其未来工作的前景进行了展望。

Abstract: The thermotolerant methylotrophic yeast Hansenula polymorpha has been an important cell factory for the production of pharmaceutical proteins and enzyme preparation,but recently been also gaining interest as a promising host for the production of both bioethanol and efficacious components from medicinal plant. In this paper,some characteristics of H. polymorpha were outlined,and the progress in research on H.polymorpha as a microbiology cell factory was summarized. Finally,the prospective application of H.polymorpha to biotechnology research was discussed.
