Effects of Cytochalasin B on Vitrification of Bovine GV-stage Oocytes

Abstract

Abstract: In the present study， effects of concentration of cytochalasin B(CB) on solid surface vitrification (SSV) of bovine GV-stage oocytes were examined. The results demonstrated that no significant differences were observed in vitro maturation rate among with or without CB pre-treatment，while they were all significantly lower than that in the IVM group.In conclusion，different concentration CB(2.5,7.5,15,20 and 30 μg/mL)treatment before vitrification did not improve the IVM rate following the vitrification of immature bovine oocytes.
