Research Progress of Forecast and Evaluation Methods in Animal Heterosis

Abstract: Based on the theoretical basis of heterosis, this article reviewed the research progress of forecasting animal heterosis from genetic distance, mixed experiment of mitochondrion, protein polymorphisms,ratio of between-group variance to inter-group variance and molecular genetic marker, then analysed the merits and demerits of these methods.
