Optimizing the IEF Protocols and Comparing the Staining Methods of the 2D Electrophoresis for the Global Proteins of Bovine Spermatozoa

Abstract

Abstract: The IEF protocols of the twodimensional gel electrophoresis for bovine spermatozoa proteins was optimizied, the staining methods were comparied and the 2 D image was analyzied with the software of Image Master 6.0. The result indicated that the better stability and reproducibility of 2 D image was acquired by using the 24cm (pH3～10) Linar strips, focusing for 80000Vh and combining with the silver staining methods.
