Effect of Different Dietary Concentrate to Forage Ratio on Gain of Tibetan Lamb

Abstract: The experiment was conducted to study the effect of different dietary concentrate to forage ratio on gain of Tibetan lamb and aid to provide a theoretical foundation for compounding dietary in Fattening lambs. 90 two-month age Tibetan lambs were selected and divided randomly into 3 groups,and fed dietary with different concentrate to forage ratio of 7∶3,6∶4 and 5∶5, respectively. Experiment period was 120 days. The results showed that the lamb daily gain increased with dietary concentrate to forage ratio increased (P<0.01),the feed efficiency was increased with dietary concentrate to forage ratio improving. Economic profit was best when the ratio was 7∶3.
