 Research Progress on the Diagnostics of Capripoxvirus

Abstract: Capripoxvirus, which belongs to Chordopoxvirinae genus, are important animal poxvirus. There are three members in capripoxvirus, sheep poxvirus, goat poxvirus and lumpy skin disease virus. And capripoxvirus seriously affect the development of wool-growingindustry and international trade. The pathogenic features and clinical symptoms of capripoxvirus were introduced in the present, as well as the research progress on the classification of capripoxvirus. Besides, the development of new detection technology was prospected.
