The Toxicological Safety Assessment of Thiazlidone-like Channel Blocker Drug

Abstract: It was reported that the toxicological safety assessment of a CFTR inhibitor.It was about thiazlidone-like channel blocker drug which synthesized in laboratory, and used in the treatment of animals diarrhea.Drug was given to mice by intragastric administration.Toxicological assessment test of thiazlidone-like channel blocker drug inclued systemic toxicity test,mouse sperm malformation test,bone marrow micronucleus test and Ames test. Results showed that the drug had no acute systemic toxicity, no mutagenic action on germ cells in vivo, no damage on chromosomes and cell mitosis and no mutagenicity. Results provided reliable test basis to use the drug further which could be used to treat diarrhea of piglets.
