Isolation and Identification on Goose Parvovirus of BC1105 Strain

Abstract: A strain of virus was isolated from the kidney, liver, brain and spleen tissue of dead goose which had similar symptoms to gosling plague on a big goose farm of Jilin Baicheng in the middle of May 2011. The results of contiguous passage of goose embryos, hemagglutination test,agar-gel immunodiffusion test, electron microscope observation, PCR identification and goose recurrent infection suggested that the virus was goose parvovirus virus. And it was named BC1105 strain.
