Abstract: Providing references of diagnosing koi herpesvirus (KHV), detection of KHV was developed by duplex PCR in this study. According to genes of SphⅠ-5 and thymidine kinase (TK) of KHV, special primers were designed, and the process of the duplex PCR reaction was optimized. The system described herein represent simple, sensitive and accurate detection method in which only one reaction was necessary to detect two target sequences of 292 bp and 410 bp that could be reliably used for the identification of KHV.
