Abstract: Pigeon circovrius, founded in the early 1920s, is a new contagious virus which mainly affecting young pigeon; it can arouse immunologic suppression, causing pigeon fall ill or death, bring great loss to the pigeon feeding consequently. It is very important to find out the virus characteristic, genome structure, disease mechanism and diagnosis method. This paper points out several reviewed aspects of pigeon circovirus, in order to realize the virus and reduce the harm of pigeon industry.
