Effects of Compound Chinese Herbal Medicine on Production Performance and Immune Function of Forest Eco-chicken

Abstract: The experiment was conducted to study the effects of compound Chinese herb on growth performance and immune function of forest eco-chicken. 200 twenty-eight-days-old chickens were randomly divided into four groups and appended on 0.5%, 1%, 2% compound Chinese medicine asⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ, and control group without any drugs. And then determined the growth performance, Newcastle disease HI antibody levels, immune organ index and lymphocyte transformation rate. The results showed the growth performance and survival rate, the growth and development of immune organs and the rate of lymphocyte transformation were significantly improved in Ⅱ and Ⅲ groups that diets supplemented with 1%, 2%,as well as the level and duration of HI antibody.
