Abstract: The replication of PCV2 was rolling-circle replication, the replication proteins Rep and Rep′ of porcine circovirus type 2 were essential for viral replication in transfected cells, the key sequence A*TA*TAC was the essential binding site for Rep an Rep′. The influencing factors included interior factors such as CpG motifs and interferon-stimulated response element in viral gene, attachment receptors (heparan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate B glycosaminoglycans), viral internalization (small GTPases and actin); and exterior factors such as dl-selenomethionine and ConA. The strategy for controlling PCV2 included all-around nutrition, RNA interference and useage of accines.
