Safety Evaluation of Shengji Powder in China Veterinary Pharmacopoeia

Abstract: In order to evaluate the clinical safety, Shengji powder was daubed on the back of Guinea pig to observe the irritant action by single test and continuous 7 d test. The subchronic toxicity was observed though being daubed on the back of wistar rats for continuous 4 weeks. The results showed that Shengji powder had a little irritant action and no subchronic toxicity. Therefore, it can be used extensively in clinic.
