Abstract: All field isolates of Bordetella bronchiseptica (Bb) in this study were derived from samples of lung or nose swab of pigs with respiratory disease from pig farms in Henan province. These strains were identified base on culture characteristics, biochemical assay and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) targeting the specific flaB gene of Bb. The result showed that 8 strains were isolated. The drug sensitivity test results showed that these Bb strains were highly sensitive to doxycycline, chloramphenicol,Flubendazole,Ofloxacin, tetracycline, kanamycin, gentamicin,Nalidixic acid and amikacin.
