Crib-biting and Windsucking and its Prevention and Treatment in Horse

Abstract: Crib-biting and windsucking is one of the most common horse oral stereotyped behaviors which is general component of the abnormal behavior of animals. In this paper, effect of crib-biting and windsucking on physiology and learning ability, development of research of causation and aetiology, process of development from a source behavioral pattern to an established crib-biting and windsucking and common prevention and treatment were summarized.
