Abstract: This article studied the pharmacokinetics and bioavailability of 10% Ampicillin suspension in vivo of target animal-fowl. The result showed that the absorption of 10% Ampicillin suspension was quick; the reaching peak time was short,about 0.89 h; the elimination half-life was about 2.5 h; and the absolute bioavailability was 35.27%,lightly higher than the absolute bioavailability of Ampicillin solution (34.30%); the bioequivalence of 10% Ampicillin suspension with oral administration to fowl was 109.8%. 

Key words: Ampicillin suspension; wlimination half-life; absolute bioavailability; bioequivalence
