Abstract:

The experiment was carried out to study the effects of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) on lysozyme secretion of 〖HT〗〖ST〗〖WT〗

〖WT5”BZ〗microphages in broilers immunosuppressed with cyclophosphamide (CY).Twenty-four 1-day-old male Arbor Acre broiler chickens were randomly allocated into 2 treatments, with or without CY injection. CY was injected into the femoral muscle of broilers at a dose of 80 mg/kg of body weight for three consecutive days (days 14,15 and 16).On day 21,the peritoneal exudate macrophages from 12 broilers per treatment were collected for in vitro culture. The different levels (0,25,50 and 100 μmol/L) of two CLA isomers (c9,t11-CLA and t10,c12-CLA) and their mixture (50/50) were used for the macrophage in vitro culture. The results showed that t10,c12-CLA alleviated the suppressed effects of CY on the secretion of lysozyme of macrophages, and the higher t10,c12-CLA supplementation had better effects. But c9,t11-CLA had no significant influence on lysozyme contents of macrophages.
