Abstract: Chose four female small tail han sheep, with evidently mottled enamel, from industrial F pollution region for the fluorosed group, then chose other four healthy for control from safe low-F region. Collected the ribs and teeth, and the F level in them were determined respectively by fluorine ion selective electrode measured. The results showed that the F level both in sheep bones and teeth from industrial F pollution region were significantly higher than the safe area, the difference was significant (P<0.01). In comparison with the control group, the F level in the fluorosed group was increased by 73.5% in the bones and 161.6% in the teeth respectively. It showed that the accumulation of fluoride in the teeth is higher than bones. The present investigation might be the basis of injury mechanism of dental and skeletal fluorosis for the further study.
