Progress on Lactobacillus as Gene Express System of Animal Mucosal Immunity Vaccines

Abstract: Lactobacillus is a kind of important probiotics gastrcinestinal tracts of human and most animals，and its considered to be safe bacteria with a GRAS (generalled garded as safe ) status. Recent years,expression systems of NICE about Lactobacillus is developed, domestic and foreign scholars use Lactobacillus as vector expressing antigen gene to study oral mucosal immunity vaccine，stimulating mucosal immune system to produce effective immune responses.The experimental results show that antigen gene can be expressed correctly in Lactobacillus,and induce the production of secretory IgA antibodies (sIgA)，activating immune system,it possesses important development prospect.
