Abstract: Three buffalos(24-month-old) was used for three period digestive-metabolism trial, three treatments were concentrate 3 kg+elephant-grass 16.6 kg+15 g urea(A group);3 kg +elephant-grass 16.6 kg+30 g urea(B group);3 kg +elephant-grass 16.6 kg+45 g urea(C group). The results showed that with the urea addition in ration increased, the apparent digestibility of the the feed nutrients, nitrogen balance and N apparent digestibility in treatment B were best(P<0.05);urinary excretion of PD no significant difference between treatment(P>0.05);urinary excretion of creatinine was not significantly affected by urea addition in ration and the number stabilized at about 40 mmol/d(P>0.05).
