Abstract: To research the accumulation rule of thiamine in muscle, Rugao Chicken(RG) and Wenchang Chicken(WC) were sampled as family, age and tissue, and the thiamine content in samples were detected by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). The results showed that, there were significant or extremely significant differences(P<0.05 or P<0.01) between different breeds, families, ages and tissues. Furthermore, thiamine’s heritability was -0.494, and the genetic correlation with body weight was -0.404. The results demonstrated that accumulation of thiamine in body were impacted by genetic factors, and changed with time and tissues. So thiamine concentration could be improved by selection. 
