Abstract: The morphous and distribution rule of primoridial germ cells (PGCs)in chicken’s embryo was studied. The results showed that there were three aggregation peaks during the migration of the PGCs. When hatched 19~22 hours, most PGCs gathered at the germinal crescent. Then, when hatched 48~55 hours most PGCs migrated at the heart and dorsal aorta. At last, most PGCs ecesised at the ganadal ridge when hatched 4~5 days. The shape of PGCs in the germinal crescent liked round or orbicularovate, there were large glycogen granule in the cells. PGCs in the blood was round. And PGCs in the gonad were round or orbicularovate and had spurious. The nucleus was all round or orbicularovate at one side of the cell. The diameter of the cell was 10~22.5 μm and the nuclear was about 7.5 μm.
