Diagnosis of Nephropathogenic Avian Infectious Bronchitis

Abstract: In September, 2007, there was a suspected nephropathogenic avian infectious bronchitis in a chicken farm in Zhengzhou. 20 day old chickens virus appeared diarrhea in 4 days and death in 6 days after inoculated with the isolated virus. The isolated virus caused mortality and dwarfing in chicken embryoes, and the virus failed to agglutinate chicken erythrocytes ,but it agglutinated chicken erythrocytes after treated with 1% trypsin. After the epidemiology investigation, the clinical symptom, pathogenic in autopsy and the laboratory diagnosis, avian infectious bronchitis virus infection was diagnosed.
