Abstract: German Simmental（Fleckvieh）is a famous dualpurpose breed in Europe. Genetic evaluation and breeding system of fleckvieh were discussed in this paper. The government only play a superintendence role in German Simmental breeding system. Breeding association and A.I. Association cooperate together to motivate the breeding enthusiasm of farmers by market economic, and they can all benefit from this system, therefore, the breeding plan can be easily implemented.
