Isolation and Identification of Staphylococcus Aureus fromLymph Nodes of Swine Carcass

Abstract: 60 random samples of lymph nodes were collected from swine carcass in Xining X slaughterhouse.These samples were treated by routine bacterial isolation and culture technique. Then the isolated bacterium strains were identified. The results showed that 40 strains of staphylococcus aureus were obtained, which indicates that there exist staphylococcus aureus in the swine carcass. As an important pathogen to human and animals, the isolation of S aureus from swine carcass must be taken seriously by relative government department.
