Pharmacological Action and Research Progress of Flos Lonicerae

Abstract: Flos lonicerae is a useful traditional Chinese gerbal.It can antagonize pathogenic microorganism,enhance immune function,eliminate resistance plasmid,anticatarrhals,decline fever,detoxification,protect liver and so on.Most of the effective chemical compositions of flos lonicerae conclude organic acid mostly of chlorogenic acid,flavonoid mostly of luteolin,triteolin,essential oil,etc.The authors introduce the progress of research on chemical constutents and pharmacological action of flos lonicerae.
