摘要: 作者对DNA条形码的定义与特征、原理、操作步骤和应用范围等进行了介绍,概括了在物种鉴定中的研究现状,并阐述了该技术在蚌类保护生物学中的应用及前景。

Abstract: This paper described the definition,characteristics,principles,application steps and fields of DNA barcodes,and summarized the limitations and prospects of DNA barcodes in species identification studies.The paper especially emphasised the application potential of DNA barcodes in mussels conservation biology studies.
