Development of a Rapid Test Strip for Detecting Vomitoxin Residue

Abstract: For development of a rapid test strip for detecting vomitoxin （DON） residue in milk.We used DON-OVA and secondary antibody goat anti-mouse to coat nitrocellulose membrane，and used anti-DON monoclonal antibody to prepare colloidal gold labeled antibody，then lyophilized in micro-holes of reaction plate.At last we prepared a rapid test strip that could be used for detecting DON residue in milk.The results showed that the limit of detection of the test strip was 100 μg/L，and the repeatability and the specificity were preferably，so the rapid strip could be used for detecting DON residue in milk.
