Abstract: To understand the seed yield component factors of Setaria sphacetata cv.Narok, and explore solutions for improving the seed yield, 7 strains of Setaria sphacetata cv.Narok were analyzed, and 4 plant grains were selected with dividing into 10. In turn made up of 1 to 10 from the base part shed seeds, and falling seeds of the trial was for No.11. Results showed that seed yield per plant (W) of Setaria sphacetata cv.Narok was significantly positive correlated with reproductive branch number (X3)(P<0.01),and significantly correlated with tiller number (X2)(P<0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis on the seed yield per plant (W) were carried out, and the equation was W=-16.59156+0.42479X3-0.03082X5+0.04923X6. Seed quality analysis on seeds of different sites showed that falling seeds of the No.11 had the best quality, and the second was No.7, and seed yield of No.1, No.3 and No.8 were higher than others, while No.9 and No.10 were the lowest. Research results found that middle ear showed high and stable production, 1/3 of tail ear was low production. Best harvest time should be selected when seeds in middle ear were fully maturation.
