Abstract: The study focused on the effects of peptides PrP106-126 on cerebellar granule neuron apoptosis-related genes expression. In this study, we detected expression changes of the cerebellar granule neuronal apoptosis gene affected by the peptide PrP106-126. The results showed that the expression of bax, caspase-3 and myc genes increased significantly after stimulated. On the contrary, the bcl-2 gene expression decreased significantly which, further confirmed that bax, caspase-3 and myc genes could induce cell apoptosis and bcl-2 gene could inhibit cell apoptosis.
