Abstract: The compound preparation is consisted of Florfenicol and acid slim mould, which is a Western compound preparation. We chose 420 AA kero-chickens of uniform size and divided them into the following 14 groups (30 chickens for each group) randomly, compound preparation group (which includes the high dose, the moderate dose and the low dose), Florfenicol control group, acid slim mould group, infected control group as well as healthy control group. We used seven groups for the prophylactic trial, while the other seven groups for the therapeutic test. The results demonstrated that the compound preparation can prevent the avian colibacillosis effectively, which can be used for the prevention of avian colibacillosis.
