Abstract: Through selective culture, Gram staining, spore staining, sugar fermentation tests, the classical physiological and biochemical testing, acid resisting test, bile salt resisting test, bacteriostatic test in vitro and so on, a Lactobacillus with strong tolerance of acid and bile salt from the healthy chickens was successfully isolated, identified and screened out, and named as Lactobacillus strains L3. The safety and adhesion of Lactobacillus strains L3 were detected by chicken safety test and intestinal mucus glycoprotein adhesion test. The results showed that the Lactobacillus tolerated acid and bile salt, and had a good safety and capacity of intestinal adhesion.
