Abstract: In this study, single-factor experimental was designed, select 100 healthy, one-day-old Tianshan snow geese, were randomly divided into 5 groups and added different level chitosan (0, 100, 200, 300 , 400 g/t) in dietary, to study growth performance and effect of fat deposition of the Tian shan snow goose. The results showed that the effect of average daily gain (ADG) was no significant difference (P＞ 0.05) on Tianshan snow geese in different levels of chitosan; feed /gain of 300 g/t group was the lowest. Adding chitosan can improve feed utilization rate significantly; contrasting test group and control group ,both serum total protein and serum albumin level was different significantly (P＜0.05), the effects of serum globulin, weight of immune organand quantity of micro-organisms were no significant differences (P＞ 0.05). 
