Effect of Ginsenoside and its Derivatives against Marek’s Virus by Cytopathic Observation

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to study the antiviral mechanism of the ginsenoside and its derivatives against Marek’s disease virus (MDV). In the safety concentration of drug，using in vitro cell culture method,the effect of ginsenoside and its derivatives on Marek’s virus(MDV) infected chicken embryo fibroblasts (CEF) were determinated. The results showed that ginsenoside and derivative seven had good anti-virus effect. Ginsenoside and derivative seven reduce the damage of virus to the CEF cell.
