Abstract: With the development of intensive farming and increasing breeding density, environmental viruses can cause prevalence and spread of infectious diseases, which bring seriously harm to human and animal and huge economic losses to farming enterprises. To learn the situation of environmental viruses, it is urgent to strengthen monitor of pathogenic viruses and establish early warning systems. In this paper, we demonstrate research progress on enrichment and detection of environmental virus in order to lay the foundation for environmental monitoring systems.
