Epidemiological Investigation of Canine Parvovirus Disease

Abstract: The canine parvovirus disease was an acute infectious disease caused by CPV. The major features of this disease included severe vomiting, hemorrhagic enteritis, significant reduction in white blood cells and myocarditis. The disease with high incidence rate, highly infectious and high mortality was one of the serious infectious diseases threatening dog raising in our country. In this research ,260 cases of canine parvovirus case from Taizhou Aite pet clinic during 2010 January to 2011 March were analyzed.This article disclosed the epidemiology of CPV in Taizhou area of Jiangsu province, aimed to provide useful guide for the clinical treatment of CPV in the future.
