Abstract: To understand drug resistance of Escherichia coli isolated from pets in Guangzhou, broth microdilution method was used for antimicrobial agent susceptibility testing of 120 clinical E. coli isolates to ceftiofur, enrofloxacin and other 11 antibiotics and the experimental data were statisticized by WHONET 5.4 software. Based on the results of drug resistance pattern analysis, it can guide the clinical use of drugs for pets and provide a theoretical basis for drug resistance surveillance.

Key words: broth microdilution method; drug resistance pattern; resistance surveillance
