Abstract: Subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA), also known as chronic or sub-clinical acidosis, is a well-recognized digestive disorder that is an increasing health problem in most dairy herds. Numerous studies have been showed that, if the caws undergo the SARA, it seems likely that the cost arising from health and production problems associated with this disease is sufficient to justify a closer inspection. The object of this paper is to help the manager how to prevent the subacute ruminal acidosis.
