Abstract: Fluorosis and iodine deficiency， geochemical diseases， were distributed broadly respectively in the world. So, the two diseases were coexistent in some areas. It reported that epidemiological investigation of goiter and children intelligence induced by fluorosis and iodine deficiency, new research progress of high fluoride and iodine deficiency on brain, thyroid gland and its hormone, and possible mechanism of interaction of fluoride and iodine in order to offer the ideas of further study on organism damage induced by high fluoride and iodine deficiency. 
