Trace mineral elements are indispensable component ingredients and nutriment of poultry, which not only keep poultry's growing, breeding, producing normally, but also have a great effect on poultry's immune organ, tissue and regulate its immune response. Improper quantity of supply or proportion of the elements in diet causes the nutrition disorder of poultry. As a result, immune function of poultry could be damaged and depressed. Thus it brings about great influence on normal physiology and production performance of poultry. It is obvious that understanding on the relation between mineral substance and poultry's nutrition and immunity has the signification for guiding poultry's production practice. A survey was made on the effect of trace mineral substance on poultry's immune function for this reason. 

Sex determination was essential for the management,humanassisted

In this paper,the traditional methods of sexing,including morphological and cytological methods,were recalled. Using stimulated with ConA peripheral blood lymphocyte and a set of specific primers,the Interleukin-15 gene of swine was amplified by PCR.The primers were designed based on the published sequences of the swine IL-15 gene.The 489bp amplified DNA fragment was cloned into pMD18-T vetor.The results showed that the sequence identities were 99 between amplified IL15 gene and that from GenBank. Bioinformatics analysis indicated some Codon preference ,Phylogenetic tree analysis indicated that the have evolutionary relationship with mammalian IL-15,however showed distinct difference with chicken IL-15. There are distinct resemblance between pig IL-15 and human IL-15 by structural domain prediction analysis .

In this study, the total RNA was isolated from Guangxi Bama mini-pig
ovary tissue with RNAwatson extraction. The complementary DNA (cDNA) encoding follistatin protein was ampilified by the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method and a pair of differential primers. The amplified cDNA fragment was inserted into pMD18-T vector. The recombined vectors were verified through the sequence survey. The results showed that the cloned follistatin cDNA was highly homologous with the reported nucleotide encoding swine follistatin in GenBank(99.4%). Meanwhile, the identified follistatin cDNA was inserted in the multiple cloning sites of plasmid pET 32a+ to construct prokaryotic expression vector, the latter was transformed into the E coli BL21 induced by IPTG. Then a fusion protein was obtained (about 58.4 ku) in SDSPAGE and Western blotting.These results showed that the follistatin cDNA was expressed in prokaryotic cells.

Genomic DNA prepared for library construction was digested by proteina
se K and extracted by phenol. The DNA was randomly sheared and endrepaired by T4 DNA Polymerase and T4 Polynucleotide Kinase.25~40 kb fragment was recovered by 1% agarose gel electrophoresis and ligated with pCC1FOS Vector. Recombinant molecules were packaged in vitro with the Phage Packaging Extract, then transformedinto E coli EPI300. A fosmid genomic library of domestic pig was successfully constructed with the titer of 8.50×109 CFU/ml in which the insert fragment size was about 25 kb.Positive clones were achieved by in stitu hybridization with MC1satellite DNA as probe.It was indicated that the library was of high quality which can be used to screen new satellite DNA in domestic pig.

Part of CLPG gene sequences of Ovis aries, Capra hircus, Bos taurus, Canis familiaris, Equus caballus, Oryctolagus cuniculus, Sus scrofa and Rattus norvegicuswas analyzed using the method of comparative genomics and bioinformatics in this paper. The results showed that a total of 176 polymorphic sites were detected from 12 sequences. More nucleotide diversity and amino acid diversity of the CLPG gene existed within and among species. The goat CLPG gene was predicted at chromosome 21 by bioinformatics analysis among species.

The methods of gross anatomy were used to study the anatomic construction features of the urinary system of the Wuzhishan miniature pig inbred line. The results should that the gross morphology and position of the urinary organs of the Wuzhishan miniature pig inbred line was similar to that of the human and other miniature pig breeds in China. It's concluded that the kidney of the mature Wuzhishan miniature pig inbredline was furthermore fit for the xenotransplantation from the anatomical point of view, which provide the morphologic data for the comparative medicine and clinical xenotransplantation. 

All those tell us that this kind of dairy cattle mastitis vaccine is reliable and worth being extended.

The number of white blood cell(WBC),total lymphocyte count,the activity of T lymplocytes ANAE+,and the erythrocyte C3bRR and ICR ratio were determined in chicks with deutochronicity different level of aluminium intoxication produced by continuous peritoneal injection of fixed volume and different concentration gradient aluminium trichloride. The result showed that WBC,total lymphocyte count,the activity of T lymplocytes ANAE+,and the erythrocyte C3bRR ratio were significantly lower and the erythrocyte ICR ratio was higher in chicks than that of the control ones.The results indicated that aluminium intoxication has marked effect in inhibition of the function of cytoimmunity and nonspecific immunity in chicks.

Epidemiological investigation of birds parasitosis was carried out in Zhengzhou Zoo. Stools of 66 species birds was collected and detected with Saturation sugar solution float assay. Results: eggs/oocysts were detected in feces of 16 species birds, the most of them were coccidia, the infection rate was 20.51%(24/117), and the other were eggs of nematode. The infected birds were treated by Diclazuril(0.5%) or Mebendazole Tablet (100mg). The result showed the curative effect of these drugs was significant. 

In the present study, the Chinese Herbal Compound was used in the clinic treatment of 80860 chickling and hens spontanously infected with infectious bronchitis in 23 farms from Guangxi, Guangdong and Sichuan province. The
result showed that the effectiveness of the treatment of Jinhuaye to the chicken was 97.7% for Respiratory Tract IB and Kidney IB while 98.8% for Reproductive Pathology IB. It indicated that the herbal compound was effective in the clinic treatment of IB.

Coupled with the BSA, hapten MPA, used as a coating antigen,combined with anti-MPA polyclonal antibody with the competition of free MPA. Indirect competition ELISA was set up according to abovementioned mode to detect the residue level of MPA in the example. The results of the experiment demonstrates that the optimal concentration of the coating antigen was 0.75 μg/ml. Polyclonal antibody against MPA was 1∶8000 and the standard curve had a good linearity in the rang of 1~50 ng/ml with detection limit being 0.1 ng/ml. The regression equation y=1.1479x+0.9426(r2=0.9679) were obtained while the coefficient of variation of intraassay and extra-assay were 5.35%,10.89% respectively. 

The CiELISA method for the detection of difloxacin were established with the polyclonal antibodies against difloxacin. The regression equation, the 50% inhibition concentration(IC50), the limits of detect (LOD) and the linear range about the standard curve of difloxacin were y=-0.223x+0.9631(r=0.9929), 119.21ng/ml,1.14 ng/ml and 1.14~10000 ng/ml, respectively. The average coefficients of variation for the CiELISA method were 4.83% in intraassay and 10.69% in interassay. The recoveries in chicken ranged from 81.24% to 90.64%.

Sixteen China Red Steppes and sixteen China Red Steppes crossbred with
Limousin were fed and fattened under same nutrition and feeding conditions for ten months.It was studied that growth velocity, meat performance,and the meat quality including tenderness,area of loin eye muscle,and marbling of these cattles after they had been fattened and abataged. The
results showed that the body height,stem length,across chest,marketing weight,body weight gain,dressing percentages,and meat percentages of the crossbreds were higher significantly than those of China Red Steppes(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The area of loin eye muscle of the crossbreds was improved 8.39% than that of China Red Steppes.The enderness and marbling of the crossbreds were higher slightly than those of China Red Steppes.But there were no significant different among those items(P>0.05). This experiment showed that the effect of improve of meat performance of China Red Steppe by crossb reeding with Limousin was very significant.The crossbreeding did not affect meat quality of China Red Steppe.The China Red Steppe had still retained its specific property of preeminent meat quality.
