Choose 20 letter piglets of the same breed and birth date, adopt singlefactor design 5 groups ,and 4 repeats of each group, group A(control group)、group B(antibiotics group)、group C(the 1stgroup of plant extracts additive)、group D(the 2nd group of plant extracts additive) and group E(the 3rd group of plant extracts additive).From 15 to 17 days of age , the feeding trial started and lasted 42 days.The experiment results indicate that:the growth performance (weaning weight 、average daily gain) of group B,C,D and E were higher than group A (P<0.05),but there were no signficant difference in the growth performance from group B,C,D and E(P>0.05),the rate of diarrhea and death of group B,C,D and E were signficant lower than control group, but were no signficant difference from group B.The results of TP,ALT and AST indicated that the results of group D and C were signficant higer than group A,B and E (P<0.05). This article provided that these three compund plant extracts additive have the function of promoting growth and decreasing the rate of death, and the experment effect is same as the antibiotics group.

Feeding trials have been performed to investigate the effects of increasing fat levels of milk replacer on growth performance,changes in selected blood metabolites and starter consumption,which provides scientific basis to research on the development of calf growth and fat requirement. It is also instructive for the practical operation of calf early-weaning and breeding. Twelve newborn Holstein calves were used and assigned randomly to receive 1 of 3 experimental treatments consisted of 8%, 13% and 17% fat, respectively (n=4 per treatment). A pellet starter was offered ad libitum and refusal were weighed daily. Changes in body weight、growth parameters and concentration of blood metabolites were determined at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 days of age prior to morning feeding. The starter consumption of calves fed with EE8, EE13 and EE17 was 706.9,666.9,569.3 g,respectively. And the average daily gain (from day10~60) was498,544g and 488 g/day, respectively.Body weight gains of EE13 treated group was greater than the other groups. On the 60 days of age, wither height、body length and cannon bone circumference were significantly higher with EE13 treatment(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the concentration of serum glucose、triglyceride and urea N among treatments, whereas a significant age effect was found on the level of triglyceride(P<0.05). The growth rate and starter consumption improved as age increased. Low-fat content (EE9) milk replacer could not satify the energy requirement of calves,on the other hand,high level of fat content (EE17) impressed starter consumption that would delay the development of rumen in the animal. Thus, medium-fat milk replacer (EE13) seemed to be the most optimal level for the calves.In addition,no significant differences in the concentration of blood metabolites was observed among groups.

In the same environmental conditions,the experiments in three alfalfa grass block recruitment conducts five phase of fattening effect research to the different variety beef cattle. Through the determination of different variety beef cattle's body weight,average daily gain and roughage intake,compare effects of different variety beef cattle weight gain. The results show that the increase alfalfa grass block can have the enhancement to average daily gain effect in degree of feed compared to the drop situation,with do not add compared Holstein group was significantly difference (P<0.01),and Xinjiang brown cattle group was difference remarkable (P<0.05),and Angus group there was no significant difference (P>0.05). The alfalfa grass block's increase in this experiment nutritional level and the body weight,the Xinjiang brown cattle,the Holstein,the Angus each group of being suitable recruitment respectively is 1.2,1.2,0.5 kg. District fishery area raising cattle present situation and productive forces level in low level of feed compared to the situation,the beef cattle should first consider the use of local fine varieties. 

The ruminal degradabilities of crude protein of multinutrient blocks were measured by nylon bags method in 4 adult crossbred oxen fitted with permanent cannula in order to study the feeding value by using multinutrient blocks as feed additive for ruminant animal. Results were as follows: There were no difference in the ruminal degradabilities of crude protein of multinutrient blocks between groups (P>0.05) but the difference in groups were significant except the ruminal degradability of 2 h (P<0.01). The ruminal degradabilities of 0,2,4,8,16,24,48 h were(1.79±0.40)%,(9.73±2.12)%,(16.27±2.57)%,(25.96±2.30)%,(43.12±1.20%),(59.35±0.63)%,(73.21±0.42)%, respectively. And the effective degradability was 34.65%.

During the experiment, fifty male and fifty female chickens of similar weight were selected. Chickens were randomly divided into four groups. Four concentration of conjuqared linoleic acid (CLA) were applied for each group, which were 0% (CK), 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%. After sixty days experiment, fifteen chickens of each group were selected to determine the effect of CLA on fatty acid accumulation. Results indicated that different responses were observed among the fatty acid when application of different content of CLA. Compared to control group, the concentration of myristic acid were increased by 16.18%(P>0.05), 30.49% (P<0.01) and 40.63% (P<0.01) while palmitic acid were increased by 9.38% (P>0.05),23.81% (P<0.05),24.73% (P<0.05); In contrast, the concentration of palmitoleic acid were decreased by 5.00%,5.31%,29.00%(P<0.05). In addition, the concentration of stearic acid were increased by 19.62%,23.41%,33.46%, respectively. On contrary, the concentration of oleic acid were reduced by 14.48%,16.52%,27.23%. The concentration of linoleic acid was increased by 0.72% at the 0.25% CLA treatment, while it was decreased by 20.75%(P<0.01) and 7.1% at the treatment of 0.5% and 1% application of CLA. Apart from the change of linoleic acid, the concentration of linolenic acid were increased by 90.00%(P<0.01),92.81%(P<0.01),93.33%(P<0.01).

In a 3×3 Latin square design, 6 chosen sheep were divided into 3 groups. The influence of different level of dietary cation-anion balance(DCAB)to parameters of plasma and nitrogen metabolism of sheep fed a wheat stover based TMR diet was researched by feeding and digesting test. The results suggested that the level of DCAB increasing, there were not significant difference between each two groups(P>0.05);concentrations of PUN changed obviously(P<0.05),compared to A and C, B decreased 24% and 26% respectively; contrary to the PUN, the total albumen of plasma present no distinct difference(P>0.05); there were not significant influence on the concentration of Ca, P of blood plasma(P>0.05), but the concentration of Ca decreased gradually, while the concentration of P of B was the highest value, A took the second place , C was the lowest. When the DCAB value was 15 mEq/100 g DM, the deposit rate of nitrogen was the highest, which was advantaged to the utilization of protein. 

Instead of antibiotics, 8 strains of bacillus were fed to 1-day-aged chicken to 35-day-aged as additive. Chicken average daily gain during the 35 days long feed revealed that 2 among these strains feeding were markedly higher than the control, and the effect accumulated with the time. Further test revealed the bacteria clones of all the test chicken cecum were apparently different from the control, their aerobic clones and lactobacillus clones decreased by 1 or 2 order of magnitude respectively compared with that of the control.

In this study, several common mycoplasma’s 16S rRNA gene sequences in the GenBank were used as standards, and three pairs of primers were designed according to their genus features, the corresponding specific PCR amplification systems and conditions were established. Finally, using these systems and conditions, the hog cholera live vaccines bought from market randomly were detected. The results showed that all of the three primers could detect mycoplasma contamination from different vaccines, the detection rate of the three primers was 20%, 17.1% and 14.3%, respectively, which demonstrated that the mycoplasma contamination in classical swine fever live vaccines was caused by multiple mycoplasma, and the source of contamination was complicated.

Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in H-FABP gene promoter region were detected in present study. A new SNP (T-C) was found at -224 bp, named H-FABP-proT224C, from the initiation codon (ATG) in promoter region. Distributions of H-FABP-proT224C in Min, Beijing Black, Landrace and Large White pigs were investigated. The SNP was found only in Min pig with more intramuscular fat content (IMF) provide the support that H-FABP-proT224C could play an important role on IMF. 

Myostatin gene is expressed specifically in developing and mature skeletal muscle, and the expression products of myostatin gene inhibits muscle growth and differentiation. The polymorphism of the Peking duck myostatin gene was researched by PCR-SSCP. The SSCP was found in the myostatin gene promoter region. It showed two genotypes(AA,AB)in Z2 line and Z4 line of Peking ducks. The relationship between polymorphism in promoter and productive performance was analyzed. Variance analysis showed that AA genotype birds had significant higher weight of abdominal fat (P<0.05 )and breast meat(P<0.10) than AB genotype in different lines. Therefore, Myostatin gene could be taken as the candidate gene.

Primers designed according to published literatures and the gene sequences of chicken and goose were used to amplify the coding sequence of MC4R gene (985 bp). The homology of this sequence with other animals (chicken, goose, Monodelphis, Alopex and dog) was 94%, 94%, 91%, 84% and 84% respectively through Blastn of GenBank. SNPs of MC4R gene coding sequence were identified and genotyped by PCR-SSCP analysis and DNA sequencing in two pigeon populations. 2 SNPs were detected in the research and analyzed by the least square analysis, the result showed that the genotype of T933C mutation had significant association with body weight, carcass weight and holocarcass weight(P<0.05)in meat pigeon but had no association in the wild population(P>0.2).The results of multiple comparison revealed that AA birds had significant higher body weight, carcass weight and holo-carcass weight than BB birds. We can putatively draw the conclusion that MC4R gene was the major gene affecting the body weight in pigeon or linked to the certain major gene.

The aim of this study is to determine the ovulation duration of domestic cats after superovulation during their nonbreeding seasons . After the treatment with twice injection of 150 IU of pregnant mares’serum , the hot queens were injected with hCG(100 IU per cat)after the treatment with PMSG and allowed to coitus with males in following 24 h. The ovulation assessment was initiated in 24 h,30 h and 36 h after the first copulation by ovariohysterectom, and the embryos were recovered from the oviducts. The results showed that all adults responded with artificially induced estrus during the nonbreeding seasons, and the ovulation in most queens was mainly initiated in 30 h after the first copulation.

Experimental objective was to establish a model of oleic acid (OA)- acute lung injury (ALI) in pigs. The injection dosage and slaying methods were compared and the excellent one was selected. Then twelve and fifty-day pigs were randomly divided into two groups -control group and OA group. The breathing status of pigs were observed. The pigs were slaughtered in 1, 3 and 6 h, and the changes of structure and the quantity of containing water of lung were observed and compared. After injecting OA, the breathing manner of pigs changed from thorax-abdominal to pressing abdominal breath, and the frequency of breath became higher. And there were typical ALI pathological changes in the OA group when the pigs were examined in 1, 3 and 6 h after injection. It is successful to establish the model of acute lung injure in pigs via intravenous injection of 0.05 ml/kg avoirdupois OA by a few each time and more times. It contributes to the further study on porcine ALI and innate immune of the lung.

A Dot-ELISA method was developed for the detection of avian influenza virus (AIV) H9 subtype. The optimum working concentration of rabbit anti-AIV IgG was determined to be 1∶400,and that of goat anti-rabbit IgG labeled with horseradish peroxidase(HRP)to be 1∶400 too. The assay could detect as low as 3.35×10-9g /disc. Comparison of the Dot-ELISA with HA and HI, AGP, virus isolation were conducted. In the Dot-ELISA, 36 of 63 were positive (57.14%), 38 of 63 in the virus isolation were positive (60.30%). The high specify of the Dot-ELISA was shown by the specific blocking test with AIV positive serum and cross-reaction test with newcastle disease virus, infectious bronchitis virus, infectious bursal disease virus, egg drop syndrome virus. The result of test reproducibility in the Dot-ELISA was very good (93.9%). The procedure took about 3 h, and it was economical, results of reaction could be easily read by eye. This rapid and inexpensive method could be proved to be a new diagnostic technique for early diagnosis of avian influenza.

Twenty-eight feces samples were collected from feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) cases which had got temperature high, vomiting, diarrhea with blood and dehydration. Seven feline panleukopenia virus strains were isolated from feces samples. They were named JX-1,JX-2,JX-3,JX-4,JX-5,JX-6 and JX-7. F81 cell line on which the FPV was transferred of the third culture were observed cytopathic effect (CPE) such as defluxion, disfiguration and liberation. FPV strain belonged to DNA virus by nucleic acid type analysis ,in which the metabolism of FPV strain was suppressed by 5-IUDR. The isolated virus strain could agglutinate red blood cell of porcine (agglutination titer was from 26 to 28) and it was inhibited by the FPV positive serum. Virion was round or hexagon, and its diameter was approximately from 20 nm to 30 nm by the electronic microscope. Animal experiment indicated the experimental kitty appeared disease about seven days after it inoculated with 1ml virus culture solution. HA and HI detections were positive from the feces sample of ill kitty.

A swine high fever disease happened in a pig farm, and purtenance samples had been detected and pathogen isolation had been conducted in this research. Several pathogenies had been isolated and identified. By bacteriological experiments, two bacteria strains were isolated, and one was haeopilus parasuis(Hps), the other one was streptococcus suis. The samples were inoculated into Marc145 cell, cytopathic effect had been observed by microscope, and the cell culture liquid was PRRSV positive with PCR. The samples were inocuated into SPF chicken embryo, SPF chicken embryo allantoic liquid could agglutinate erythrocyte of chickens, and the other virus had been identified as swine paramyxovirus by HA and HI.

One hundred and eighty broilers were randomly divided into 6 groups with 6 replicates in each group and 5 chicken in each replicate. Group A was the control group, B, C, D, E and F were supplemented with antibiotic,0.2%,0.4%,0.6% and 0.8% bioactive soybean peptide(BSP)respectively. The results showed that the BSP could improve daily weight gain, daily feed intake and slaughter rate, and save feed cost. The study indicated that BSP could be used in broiler production effectively and led to better results than anbiotic. The optimum amount of the supplement was 0.6%.

Three geese breeds (Huoyan geese, Rhine geese,Yangzhou geese) were selected as parental material, six crossbreed geese were formed, which are Huoyan♂×Rhine♀(HR), Rhine♂×Huoyan♀(RH), Huoyan♂×Yangzhou♀(HY), Yangzhou♂×Huoyan♀(YH), Rhine♂×Yangzhou♀(RY), Yangzhou♂×Rhine♀(YR), the body weight, growth rate, livability, body size. The results showed that The body weight of RY,RH,YR,YH,HR and HY at the age of 10 weeks old were 389333 g,381000 g,370917 g,353583 g,349000 g and 334833 g respectively. The body weight of RY was significant higher than that of HY. Thought analyzing we also can take conclusion that RY,RH and YH are first selecting crossbreed goose.

The component of α protein of Shatoosh fibre and hair were composed of 20 kinds of amino acids, same as other wool or cashmere, but the content of each amino acid was different. The content of glutamic acid in Shatoosh fibre was 3 percents higher than which was in the hair, while Histidine and Cystine were only 66% and 15.48% to the hair. The content of Histidine in Shatoosh fibre was 5.88%, which was 4 percents higher than other wool or cashmere. The content of Cystine was 10.60%, the highest among experimental samples, which would be embodied the excellent fiber quality and textile performance.The amount of alkali amino acid was close to acid amino acid was found in Shatoosh, which suggested that Shatoosh has strong capbility to resist alkali and acid solution, microorganism etal. The ratio of Paa to Daa was less than 1, which confirmed the point came from alkali and acid amino acid again.
