Diagnosis and Treatment of Atypical Newcastle Disease Coinfected with E.coli in Red-crested Crane

Abstract: Avian Newcastle disease had high incidence and mortality rate in poultry. The disease was mainly prevented with immune vaccination. Newcastle disease was controlled, but atypical Newcastle was occurred at the same time. The disease was epidemical in Red-rested crane in Jilin city zoo, atypical Newcastle disease infection mixed with E.coli was diagnosed. The epidemic was controlled by specific therapy of high immune yolk antibody and antibiotic therapy.
